We have a new small rescue dog who came to us with lots of aggression. He was completely socialized. I enrolled him in Canine Good Citizen mainly for the socialization but the first lesson he spent the whole time lunging, growling and barking at every dog and person there. I was ready to quit the second week when the trainer gave me this product to try. We honestly had amazing results...I suddenly had a dog who could regain control of himself. I only have to show him the canister now usually and he will calm down. It is completely humane, I always point it away from him so it is only the sound that gets his attention. I bought the large size here which cost the same as the little size in my local store.

This really keeps the pups in line. It makes a "shhh" sound and scares the dog into behaving. It is definitely a punishment vs positive reinforcement. Sometimes positive reinforcement just doesn't work. I usually spray the can after a really bad behavior like chewing carpet or uncontrollable barking.
