So easy to use, cuts through wood like a hot knife through butter, and with the weight it has it virtually eliminates kick-back. The Porter Cable heavy duty magnesium shoe circular saw is light- weight, weighing less than 10 pounds. It is an effective saw for DIY wood cutting projects. It has double handles that are sturdy, durable, and provide a solid grip while using. The saw comes with a blade, and it is easy to add and remove. This saw comes with a long power cord; however, we choose to use an extension cord for our projects. There is a little play with the magnesium shoe when cutting lines, but this is not a deal breaker.
