[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EarthStone Multi-Purpose Cleaning Block is a powerful non-toxic cleaning tool, just as the package states! I like that it is a heavy duty way to clean a variety of surfaces such as in the bathroom, tiles and grout, in the kitchen on cookware oven interiors and grates, ceramic glass cooktops, and outside on pool tile, grills, and tools. It can be used wet or dry, to get rid of hard water, lime, and mineral build-up. It also works on rust, scale, and paint. It is suggested to use by itself or with a cleaning paste. Baking soda makes a good cleaning paste. Since it's made from recycled glass, it's earth-friendly, and produces no harsh odors or chemicals. Years ago, a friendly plumber came to unclog one of our toilets, and to my embarrassment, noticed our hard water stains in the bowl. He called me into the bathroom, after he finished and I was surprised to see a white toilet bowl. He showed me a little block that he used to clean it, and gave it to me. That was my prized possession for a long time, until it was depleted, and I could not find it anywhere. I was so excited to see this! I love products that do what they claim, and the EarthStone Multi-Purpose Cleaning Block really delivers. I have WHITE toilet bowls again!
