(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We were hesitant about the hamper door. We thought it might be in the way and make it more difficult to reach inside the dryer to pick out the clothes. Interesting enough it was not an issue. On the contrary, the hamper door was extremely handy for both transferring clothes from the washer to emptying it. Transferring from the washer means no dropping clothes onto the floor because you simply place them onto the door (the open position is like a sturdy shelf). Then you can easily spread the clothes out into the dryer instead of in clumps. Removing clothes is handy as you pull them out of the drum and place them on the door then into the hamper. Or if you throw them directly into a hamper anything that falls out of your hands will fall onto the hamper door. This door is made for this purpose and it is very sturdy and there is no fear of breaking it. Well done. And yes, the clothes come out dry and fluffy. I wasn't sure how well 'AutoDry' would work because my old Kenmore dryer had a visible 'moisture sensor' inside the dryer drum. There is no sensor inside this dryer drum. The documentation does mention sensing without over drying, perhaps the sensor is in the exhaust section. The results are impressive when you have both dense items (pants) and less dense (T-shirts) and they are both dry while the T-shirts are not overdried. No need to run the dryer for just the pants after the rest of the load is dry because everything comes out dry. Impressive. My only complaint is that the buzzer is not as loud as my old Kenmore. We do not hear it throughout the house. For some people that might be a blessing.
