I used to buy the name brand Planters because they had a special seasoning on the outside of the peanut that made them extra tasty. Now they taste like all the others………Why not offer a healthier option and keep the original tasty version???? Now no difference then store brand cheaper option.

Gelatin?!
I thought I was buying salted peanuts (peanuts, oil, salt) so I didn't check the ingredients. After I noticed they tasted different, I saw that there was gelatin included. Ew! I'm vegan and while I usually read labels, I thought peanuts were safe (other than honey-roasted.) It was not clearly labeled that this was not a plant-based product. Just judging from the comments, I'm not the only one.

I was expecting salted peanuts
The label reads, "Planters dry roasted salted peanuts." I was expecting peanuts and salt. Maybe some oil. Upon sampling them, they tasted sweet, and sure enough, a laundry list of ingredients was listed on the back. I didn't think I would have to check the ingredients of salted peanuts, and I am a bit disgusted by the sugar and flavorings (not to mention the "corn syrup solids"). I think I'll switch to the store brand!
