Ive had one of these for 10 years now literally the same unit, great tool i use this over any others that employers have supplied me. Auto feed helps have more control and feel for blockages or bends. I Replace the cable probably once a year. Much better then Milwaukee ones. I personally hose clamp the lower lever and just switch it from reverse to forward to auto retract and feed. Never had any problems! Ive broken one pipe with it due to poor fitting with back to back to back 90 degree knuckle bends

Huge time and work saver
As was at the end of my rope trying to clear a clog in the septic line of a travel-trailer. Worn out by cranking on hand-held drain augers, I was glad that there was an more affordable alternative to powered drain augers. What is so useful about this tool is that you can retract the cable and the clog simply by choosing to retract while continuing to spin the auger cable in the direction which ensures that the clog (in my case strips of flannel) were pulled out of the piping.
