Great Shave...

When I had the chance to review this shaver , I was thrilled. I had always been reluctant to trying an electric shaver. I was told by several friends that they didn't provide a close enough shave and that they were difficult to handle. I was also warned of the lack of power in some. Well, when I first used the Remington F5 Comfort shaver, all of my fears vanished. The shaver is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery that is made for corded or cordless use. The battery can be charged in 5 minutes, Incredible. It provides up to 3 times more battery life than the normal NIMH battery. The shaver is tapered for an easy grip and provides excellent closeness. The head allows for comfort with it's flexibility, There's also a pop- up trimmer for side burns. For an easy clean-up, just rinse under the faucet. An excellent tool for travel or at home.

Nice Razor - Close Shave

The razor gives a very close shave, and I have to shave less. Shave seems to last longer. It seems to be well made, I like the rubber grip on the outside cover. The charge lasts a long time between uses. Charges full within a couple of hours. It does shave the neck area close unlike the other electric shavers I have. I normally used a Phillips rotary razor and this shaves much closer in half the time. It does not come with a travel bag which is disappointing for traveling, this should have been included. I also do not like the stand it comes with, it is very flimsy and cheap. It should have come with a charger stand for charging instead of a cord. If I plug it in to charge I have to be careful I don't tip over the razor. If not for the stand, I would have rated the quality excellent. The razor itself is well made and does a great job. Design is good, feels good in the hand, and looks great. Being able to rinse the razor is a great feature for cleaning, and it does come with a small brush.

Easy to use and dependable

My husband has a sensitive face but must shave everyday due to his employer. We have been married about 5 years and he has never owned an electric shaver as he had heard negative comments about them in the past. So when this arrived we were both excited. We turned it on and it already had a charge but opted to plug it into the cord charger. Upon using it, he liked it right away. It doesn't tug at the hairs and it is painless, and pretty much impossible to nick yourself. He caught on right away and the result was a pretty close shave and no red irritated skin. He also used the trim on the side to get a couple of longer hairs that weren't catching into to foil and that worked perfectly. He has been using this shaver now each day and it is easy and quick to use. The charge holds for a rather long time especially if you using it once a day for a short duration. It is also very easy to clean, just pop of the top and rinse with water. For a weekly thorough clean you use some liquid soap and a brush to lather up and rinse. I am so happy that he isn't scraping his face with a razor anymore and so is he! He will never go back to a regular razor!
