I just received my PC 4212 deluxe dovetail jig, I feel like a kid on Christmas day. I haven't used it yet. It was packed very well all new. The manual is easy to read and understand with lot of pictures. They also have a website to register with lots of information. This jig is solidly built and reasonably priced. Will return for a second review after using this jig.

First time making dovetails or box joints

I've only had this jig a few days, but I've cut some half-blinds so far. First set were too loose, and after adjustment, the next set was too tight. The joints look pretty good for a novice. Instructions are adequate. Unit is very well built, but the lettering on the templates are hard to read without getting a good angle with plenty of light. I'm looking forward to learning more. Once these things are dialed in I believe that it will be easy enough to make quality joints.
