Great Gun But Dewalt needs to make a hard case

I originally bought the 30 degree gun (actually had 2 of them) and they kept jamming. I think the high degree of angle is a problem. Returned it and got this 21 degree gun instead and havent had a single jam. Great tool. BUT!........ DeWalt are you listening? You need to offer a hard case for this gun. Every other DeWalt tool I have lives in a nice hard case and this gun does not fit into a Tstak or tough system case unless I stuff it into the extra deep tough system case with tons of other stuff. Not what I want to do. Give us a hard case for this gun!

Surprisingly Powerful and Nimble!

After about a month of good use I felt I had to share my excitement! I just wanted to say I have used other cordless framers in the past that dont even compare to the ability of the 21° framer. I ran through about 30 clips so far of 3 1/4 inch nails with no issues at all. It is very easy to adjust the depth right where it's needed. I found I liked the bump fire mode the most when testing so thats where it stayed. It charges right when you pull the trigger or depress the tip vs on single fire it does not charge when just pulling the trigger. My favorite part has to be how easy the spring mechanism is to opporated. You just pull it back to lock position and pull again to release with little effort needed compared to some others. I have always hated dragging air hose around and I am now one step closer to cutting the cord/hose. I will be sure to try the brad nailers next as I am very pleased with the framer. I hope a coil roofer is next on the list!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Future

Doe's it replace your conventional everyday framing gun, Not yet. What is it? Everything else. This is not a toy, It packs a serious punch on its lowest settings and at nine hundred nails a battery. From sheathing to framing this gun really shines, Bump mode is awesome. Its design was well thought out, Depth adjustment nice big knob, Magazine slide every gun should be this easy, Its well balanced and grips nicely. If You have to find something negative, Its a tad heavy and only holds 49 nails, Must have for Your tool box. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
