1. REMOVE lid and cheese sauce packet. Set aside. (Note: You will see loose white powder in pasta. This is necessary for proper cooking.)2. Add COLD Water to fill line in cup. STIR WELL.3. MICROWAVE on HIGH 2 minutes.* DO NOT DRAIN.CAUTION: CUP AND MACARONI WILL BE VERY HOT!4. STIR in cheese sauce packet. Let stand 1-2 minutes to allow cheese to melt. STIR again until sauce is smooth and creamy.*Cooking times based on a 1200W microwave.

Good food
I eat this product (white and aged) at least once a week. I find it cooks perfect every time at 2 one half min.Even if I add salsa or extra cheese.

Why is the mac and cheese slimy after cooking?
My family loves all products by Annie's! I recently purchased Annie's Grassfed Real Aged Chedder mac and cheese single cups for the microwave and noticed after cooking , it was VERY slimy. So I stirred it the best I could put in the cheese powder and the slimy turned into cheesy stringy texture. It still smelled good and noodles were soft and taste was good. I'm just curious if the slimy texture is normal and safe?

Won't buy these again
Followed instructions. Got 1/3 full cup of weirdly gloopy Mac and cheese with a quite odd texture. They did taste good. Going to stick with the boxed variety.
