This TV in 83” is a different animal than its smaller sizes. Should have its own model designation like A85L.

Bravia A83L

This TV has fantastic picture quality. I compared side by side with back lit LEDs and this just blows them away. The picture quality does come with a significant price increase above the back lit TVs however. I have read the TV can be washed out in rooms with lots of incoming sunlight. My room has a lot of light in the evenings during the summer months so I am curious to see how it is affected in the coming months. So far so good.

SONY A80L OLED 83 inch TV

Purchased this monitor during Black Friday weekend. Always wanted an OLED monitor since seeing them back in the day when i worked at CBS. So far, the colors are true, the blacks are phenomenal and the images are superb. It is everything I expected it to be. It needed no adjustments out of the box, which you cant always say about television monitors. It's a SONY, so i expect it to be among the best out there.
