Rapid Fire Protein Original Pods, 12ct

This is a powder coffee pod. Wish I knew that before trying to make an ice coffee because the powder did not blend in as you need hot water. The taste is not really coffee. It’s not bad but it has a different taste to it. Obviously the benefit is the protein and assuming that is why anyone would buy these then it’s worth a try.

I have never had protein coffee before so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this. This coffee is made with 100% arabica beans and contains no added sugar. The ingredients other than coffee beans are a protein Blend which consists of whey proteins and milk proteins, natural caffeine at about 45 mg, coffee robusta which provides 100 mg of caffeine, Himalayan pink salt and silica. When I first tried this, I followed the directions by brewing this with 8 ounces of water. After drinking it, It did have a salty aftertaste that I did not like so subsequent cups I used more water, I found 10 ounces of water to be better for me and alleviate some of the salty aftertaste. This coffee is showing to be keto friendly and there are also directions on how to recycle your k-cup. Overall, it is not my favorite coffee but it is not bad and I am getting used to it and liking it a little more with each try. I would definitely recommend it to somebody who is looking to increase their protein intake.
