I am ambivalent as to whether or not to recommend purchasing these caraway seeds. I guess it really depends on what you are looking for in a caraway seed. The taste of these caraway seeds is not what I expected. They are much milder in taste and lighter in color than what I am accustomed to. I prefer a much stronger taste with fewer seeds per gram weight. But then, I like my food spicy with bold flavors. These seeds are a good value, but I find I need to use more of them to get a stronger flavor. Using more seeds to get a stronger flavor also means introduction of too much seed texture to the point of distraction.
