READY GRILL SS/BLACK

Got mine in 1993 as a wedding gift. It still was used 2-3x/ week up until 2017, when it was lost in our Calif wildfire. I never tried sandwiches. Did steaks, fish, veggies. One warning: Do not under a cabinet in kitchen. Make sure it has room to breathe. Stay close by when cooking. Just like dangerous toaster ovens (had a Black and Decker catch fire but put it out), grease can flame up fast. You need to be close by to unplug it - no power to it, the flame went down immediately. If you had it plugged into a surge protector, you could cut power that way. When its flaming up, it is unsafe to turn off on the product itself. Before I scare you, this was once in 24 years of heavy use. And even then, it was under control fast, product was not damaged. I just emptied the grease tray. It slides out. ( ALWAYS clean product after every use.) The metal racks are easy to clean. Inside there are two long sliding panels that go behind heating bars. Those go in easy. The end pieces I found on one end it went in easy and other was a tight fit. That end was annoying. I am trying to think which goes in first. Anyway, I could go buy a Cuisine Art 5 in 1 for $79.99 but I really miss this product. So I am so glad they are still making these. Rebuying this. I can do pancakes in a skillet etc. The vertical grill takes up very little space to store. The other thing is sometimes I would road trip travel with it. Just get a gym tote bag. If i could give this 10 srars i would. It ties for favorite appliance. I loved my Trillium juicer, too

I love this grill. It is somewhat compact. I grilled some boneless chicken breast and they were better than the ones I've cooked on my actual grill. I wouldn't recommend it for a large family but for 2-3 people it is perfect.
