RACK Bolton 5.5-Foot Billiard/Pool Table (Black)

A pool table should have the following characteristics: Solid base, table runs true, good cushions, esthetically pleasing, and have good packaging from the factory. This table has all five. It is heavy, and that is desirable, so it will probably take two people to carry it in and set it upright. I hit a half-hearted shot from corner to corner and the ball tracked as straight as an arrow. Good cushions should make the ball contact at least four. if the ball is hit hard, and this one does. It is a pretty table to look at and you will be glad to show it off. And finally, good packaging is a MUST! A thing this big is going to have to be hefted onto all manner of surfaces, and fork trucks are not gentle. Fortunately, there was so much packing material in the box that it took longer to discard all of it than it did to uncrate it. There was only issue with it, and it was a very minor one: one of the legs was drilled wrong and the holes would not line up. I fixed it with my drill in about 10 minutes. It seems to be a very good, solid table, that is pretty expensive, but I have found that if you go cheap, you usually get cheap.

The item arrived on time, however the box was broken open and punctured. The table sustained several cosmetic scratches, but other than that is was undamaged and easy to assemble. Upon assembly, the table was actually perfectly level with no adjustments. The table has a very slow roll, and the bumpers are 'dead', bank shots are almost impossible. When breaking the table is so slow and the bumpers so unresponsive all the balls stay at one end on the table, making for uninteresting game play. The cues are more toy like and need to be upgraded. The balls may be too small and not heavy enough for a more realistic experience. I would not recommend it at all.
