These are great for shower wall. Attached to a clean smooth surface. Stays in place. Has not detached from wall yet after several months of use. Holds the hand-held fixture (which I had purchased previously) in place. I purchased a 2-pack of these to use in my inside shower as a second mount for easier access to the removable shower head and the other for my outside shower. The outside one easily mounts and dismounts and is necessary to remove because I live in SW Florida and the suction cup would've stay up more than a few days because of the intense heat here. The one mounted in my inside shower stays up just fine until I remove it occasionally to clean the shower wall and easily and securely remounts.
