Quart Size Mason Jar Soap and Lotion Dispenser - by Jarmazing Products - Made from Rust-Proof Stainless Steel

In my opinion, the ad for this product on the Walmart website is misleading. I bought a quart size jar. A quart is 32 oz. When I received the product, the top of the jar was labeled "24 oz." The container may contain 32 oz., but it's not labelled 32 oz. A lay person who is not familiar with Ball jars would expect to see a "32 oz." indicator at the top and not "24 oz." When you buy an 8 oz. or 16 oz. measuring cup, the labels indicate 8 oz. and 16 oz., respectively, at the top of the jar with a little room to spare above the ounces indicator. The seller advised me that "32 oz. Ball jars have a measuring indicator on the side of the jar that goes up to 24 oz., with the remaining 6 ounces filling the top section of the jar". THE ITEM DESCRIPTION SHOULD SPECIFICALLY STATE THIS FACT AND SHOULD INCLUDE A CLEAR PHOTO SHOWING THAT THE OUNCES INDICATOR ONLY GOES UP TO "24 OZ." I was expecting to see a "32 oz." indicator on the jar I bought. This jar is not worth $22.00. I could have bought the same jar for A LOT less at a variety of stores (including Walmart) and just bought my own dispenser lid. Also, I wasn't impressed with the packaging. The jar came in a small cardboard box a little bigger than the jar itself with no bubble wrap to protect the glass. It was just wrapped in one piece of thin brown packing paper. With the way packages are mistreated these days, I'm really surprised that the jar arrived unbroken. I was going to attach a photo showing the jar, box and packaging, but I've already spent enough time on this purchase. I'm giving one extra star, because it was shipped in a timely manner. Won't buy from again.
