Excellent reel
This is an excellent, smooth casting spinning reel. I have used a lot of reels in a wide variety of brands and cost; Quantum and this one in particular is my favorite. I have owned the earlier models of this reel and when I buy another reel; this is my first choice. I currently use extra limp mono on one and braid on another.

Great reels!
This reel exceeds my expectations. From the titanium bail, very smooth operation and instant anti-reverse, this is a super high quality reel for the money. I have great memories as a kid landing a 20lb salmon with my Zebco 202 and the many fish caught since then on Quantum reels. From pike and walleye to winter steelhead on the river, I only use Quantum spinning reels. They have never failed me. This is serious gear.
