If water is added, use no more than one part warm (not hot) liquid to four parts Purina ONE, changing frequently to ensure freshness. If fed dry, this formula may be kept before pups at all times. For best results, develop a regular feeding schedule, such as three small meals a day for younger puppies. Gradually reduce the one feeding in the morning to one in the evening as your puppy ages. The routine should not vary. Making the Switch to Purina ONE: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Purina ONE can make in your dog, please allow 7-10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Purina ONE until you're feeding Purina ONE exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. No Supplements Necessary: Purina ONE provides 100% complete and balanced nutrition for the growth of large breed puppies. There is no need to add vitamins, minerals or other supplements, unless specifically directed by a veterinarian. The Importance of Ideal Body Condition: Research at the Purina PetCare Center indicates that avoiding overfeeding of puppies may help their development. Maintaining ideal body condition is key to encouraging proper growth in all puppies, especially large breeds. The indicated amounts are only a guideline. My elderly dog loves the real chunks of chicken in the food. He has food allergies and can only eat this brand, as he's gotten older the puppy formula is easier for him to eat then the adult formula out even the senior formula. Purina in my opinion is the best quality dog food on a budget.

Our loyal squirrel dog of 17 years was our first to try Purina One. She loved it and it helped to keep her heathy. She lived significantly longer than any of the dog s we've had over the past 50 years. It was only natural to start our new Yellow Lab puppy on Purina One Puppy Cow. She loves it!
