Progresso Rich & Hearty, Lasagna-Style Soup With Italian Sausage, Canned Soup, 18.5 oz.

I was actually surprised at how good this soup is. I get tired of the chicken varieties, don't like the weird aftertaste of every beef soup I've ever had (except homemade), and tried this Lasagne-style soup only because it has Italian sausage and not beef in it. I've bought it quite a few times now. I do add some whole milk to it because that's how I eat any kind of tomato-based soup, to tone down the acidity. The pasta isn't mushy, the flavor is good, and even the small pieces of sausage have a good taste and texture. I'm not sure what the "Salty" rating means? Rating it high for enough saltiness, or high because it's too salty? Unless a canned soup is specifically low-sodium, they're all too salty to me, and I add water to them. Progresso Rich %26 Hearty soups are the only canned soups I like, with the exception of the Chicken w/Wild Rice, which I doctor up enough to make it good. I usually make my own soups, but there are four varieties of these that I keep on hand at all times for convenience. Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking, right?
