This mini colander is the perfect size for so many uses. In fact, I reach for it so frequently that this is the second one I have purchased. The removable base is perfect for taking a batch of washed grapes to the table for serving or for popping some rinsed fruit into the refrigerator to chill while it finishes draining. You can even soak fruit in the basket with the base on and then remove it to finish the rinse and drain. It folds up nicely and takes up very little space. My original colander is about 5 years old and still like new after I using it every day. Highly recommend.
