We didn't have to peel any potatoes since we bought these sweet potatoes canned. We made sweet potato casserole with a crunchy apple and cinnamon flavored oats topping on this for Thanksgiving (since we were looking for a very healthy side low in sat fat, sugar and salts). This was a big hit and didn't last for long!

Easy option to fresh sweet potatos.

I can only use this option of canned sweet potato as they are only sweet potatoes and water, nothing else. It is nearly impossible to find this option from any vendor. It now can be only gotten from mail order. I hope it is not discontinued as it is a great product and well worth the price if one does not want to use fresh.

Convenient to have in the pantry

I keep a can on hand incase i dont feel like cooking sweet potatoes myself, i mash them up, add butter, vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar, little salt, spread in a dish and add mini marshmallows on top, cook 20 min. I also like to add these to my dogs turkeywith some peas or green beans when i make his food so i like that its no sugar added.
