Perfect addition to my WFH space!!

I love the mix of wood and metal in this desk - it is so substantial and looks fantastic. The wood and ironwork blend so well with my existing furniture. I can easily fit two monitors and everything I need to have a great day. A great investment for my space.

Terrible experience

I do not recommend this bookcase. It arrived heavily damaged. The 800 number to contact customer service tells you to send an email and there is noone to speak to on the phone ( it hangs up on you). After sending an email to Design House, I am told to just work it out with Walmart, and all will be fine. Not so, as I was told by Walmart customer service to find another box, pack it and ship it back to the seller ( I was supposed to provide the box, packing materials, etc). Mind you, the bookcase assembly parts are 50 inches tall, and I don't have a new box lying around my garage that big ( the old box was in no shape to reuse). LOL. A nice supervisor finally resolved this and is sending a freight company that will pack and ship the return. This has taken hours and hours to resolve... time I didn't have. Explaining that I am an elderly woman with disabilities also didn't matter. Anyway, if you want a fun project with many many parts to assemble, then order this item and hope it arrives undamaged. Meanwhile, I will have to wait for a refund for another week or more.
