Prevue Pet Products Tubular Steel Hanging Bird Cage Stand

I have a dog and a cat, and a new cockatiel. I knew that a table style stand wouldn't keep the cage high enough (from the dog jumping on it) and I didn't want to put a hole in my ceiling to hang it (plus the bird would be stuck in one location). So this stand is perfect. It is sturdy, which means very little wiggle when in use. Of course, before putting the cage on it, I grabbed the arm where the hook is and tried to tip it. So I am sure that it takes a good deal of effort to get this to tip! I am a bit baffled by the reviews of this stand being flimsy, because it is not. It is light enough that I can set up my bird in any room I happen to be in. This is a huge plus because most birds are social and it allows me to keep my bird happy by keeping him near me. I suppose that when the weather warms up, I could bring him outside, too. It keeps my bird away from the cat (as long as I don't put the stand in a location near things the cat could use to get close to it) and the dog doesn't really have anything to jump on to knock it over. This stand is a win-win-win! Ideas to make this product better: adjustable height (not lower, but I would like to have it go higher), and casters with locks so that it is easier to move.
