Better size for two people than the bigger electric skillet. Singles can prep with it and freeze or eat several meals during the week. Works best with thawed ingredients. Can sear meat at one temperature and then reduce to bake much as an oven as has those temperatures on the dial. Easy to attach legs to pan with a screwdriver. It has been improved since the earlier generation classic electric skillet. Could be portable for car trip or camping with electricity. The spout is a nice feature. It heats and cooks very fast for an electric appliance. The see-through cover is helpful. Non-stick surface. Submersible in dish water without cord but not dishwasher safe.

I really like this electric skillet. I wanted to get away from the Teflon and this seems to work good but don't use the spray oil in there (Pam) or you'll be buying another one like I had to. We use this in our motorhome and also in our bumper pull camper but would also be a great addition in the house. because it is just the perfect size.
