Works Within Limits

The hooks are a little small so the spacing between the spring and hook may cause issues with power tools in regards to sockets. Keep in mind the diameter of the coil spring as this unit will not support (hook/latch on) to a large spring. The instructions request that you place the hooks as far down and up on the spring. As the spring is compressed the screw can come into contact with the spring and the screw head may alter it's location causing the socket to come into contact also with the spring. I suggest a long socket extention ( 1/2 inch drive size). In general it works.
