The cable works, that's all I ask for

I was using RCA cables for my audio from my TV to my Sound Bar and wanted to try using Digital Optical audio cables to see if there was any difference and improvement. The price was great for these cables, since at many stores, they are being sold for $15-$20. ***Make sure you remove the plastic protective covers on both ends of the cable.*** I first hooked up the cable and did not remove these and thought it would not work. There were no instructions that told you to remove them. Once correctly installed, the sound came through crystal clear, and I could tell a slight improvement over the RCA cables.

This optical audio cable really did the trick for setting up my SAMSUNG soundbar to my Toshiba LCD tv. Similar cables were $25-$30 apeice at Best Buy. This $5 cable was easy to install and has worked flawlessly since being installed. I actually bought 2 since the price was unbeatable!
