With Porter-Cable's 557 deluxe plate joiner and these face frame biscuits, narrow stock can be joined quickly and easily. At 5/32-inch thick, they are as thick as standard biscuits and provide plenty of strength for typical face frame construction. I discovered after receiving them that I will have to purchase a smaller blade for my plate joiner, so they will sit until I have a real desperate need for biscuits that small.

Can only be used with Porter Cable Joiner
After purchase, I was disappointed to discover these cannot be used with any plate joiner, even though it says so on the label. Requires a smaller cutting blade, which then necessitates a longer stroke length than can be achieved with non-Porter Cable plate joiners
