The Fluidmaster 400H-002 PerforMAX High Performance Universal Toilet Fill Valve offers the best in toilet fill valve replacement. This fill valve sets the performance standard and features new upgrades for even more water-savings, and faster installation. The most powerful fill valve in the market, generating 2X greater refill rates than standard designs, with ultra-quiet operation. Installation is simple, with a pre-installed shank washer, and new step-by-step pamphlet instructions for the fastest and easiest repair possible. A universal toilet fill valve this design fits most brands. Featuring EZ-twist shank height adjustment from 9 in. to 14 in. to fit more tanks. Best for use in 1.28 HET and 1.6 GPF toilets, but can also be used with pre-1994 3.5 GPF toilets. Designed to save-water with adjustable tank water level, and bowl water level dials that are easy to use. Customize your water use per flush depending on your needs, or toilet model. The PerforMAX Fill Valve is a code approved, anti-siphon design that won’t contaminate the fresh water supply. Including a fill valve, washer, locknut, tube and clip for everything needed to replace your toilet fill valve. A life saver.;
The Fluidmaster solved my running toilet instantly. This items is truly universal. I had a toilet that no matter what I did to adjust the fill valve, it wouldn't stop the water from running over into the pipe. I figured I needed a new fill valve. If you have an American Standard VorMax and wondering if this fill valve will work, it will 100% work. As a matter of fact, it works better than the one that originally came with the tank. I plan to purchase more just to have around the house. My handyman put in the tank quickly and I made a few adjustments to the valve concerning how much water I wanted in the tank and bowl, and boom, DONE! I highly recommend this product!

This toilet fill valve was easy to install for most any DIY'er. The water level adjustments (tank and bowl) and inside tank height adjustment are a definite plus and so easy. Local home improvement store charges $150 to install per their website, so save yourself some money.

Great product for any fill valve replacement
This is an excellent product for anybody that knows about the working parts of a toilet tank. Probably don't really need the adjustable flow tube for bowl level for most toilets, but it's a cheap extra for "just in case" and maybe helps keep the bowl cleaner. I will last many years, and when the shut-off gasget/washer eventually begins to fail, it is easily replaced. Pay attention to your tank height and adjust the tube controlling float height before installing it in the tank.
