Convenient, practical and easy to use.

Easy to use, I use it mainly to cook jasmine rice but you can still cook meats, stews, oats, steam vegetables, etc. In my opinion I prefer to use it for rice and make meats in pots, pans or in the oven. But if you don't have much space in the kitchen, it's compact and you can do everything in it. I love that it has a reservoir to collect water vapor and does not make a mess.

Great cooker for 1 or 2 servings.

I'm glad that I decided on this rice cooker. I've cooked seasoned white rice (that I couldn't rinse) and old fashioned oatmeal and it worked just fine. Because I was cooking just enough rice for me, there wasn't any problem with starch build up at the steam hole. If I was cooking plain white or brown rice, I would rinse the rice first. I especially liked the old fashioned oatmeal because I could add my chopped apples after cooking, leave it on warm a few minutes and it doesn't overcook the apples. Cleaning the pot is a breeze because there is no rice or oatmeal stuck to the bottom of the pot. Cleaning the top is a little more involved but it's worth it. Be sure to read the instructions on how to clean the top. I also like that it gives you different cooking choices unlike other cookers that only have an on/off selection. The size is perfect because it doesn't take up a lot of space. I'm looking forward to trying out the steamer tray and other recipes for meats and vegetables.
