Very tough!

This is my new go to hammer for framing. The shock resistance is incredible! Mine is plastic coated . I've used it to build chicken coops to remodeling our kitchen. It's been left outside(accidentally for 3 days in the snow and rain) and it didn't complain. I have put this tool through the ringer and as you can see it still looks great! The mill face is still solid. I love this hammer! Go Stanley!

I love this hammer

It fits great in your hand, nice grip, I'd say it's the best hammer I bought in my 12 years in construction.

A good quality tool

I've had this hammer going on two years and love it! The axe style handle stays in my hand even when wet and slimy. The 17 oz. is just right for general work but not heavy enough for framing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
