Peace of mind
I have now purchased 5 Blueair Pure 211 and 211 Plus air purifiers -- 1 for my home, 1 for my daughter's home, 1 for my son's home, and 2 for the classrooms for the teachers in my family. These units are quiet and are highly rated on Consumer Reports and other sites. I want to be as safe as possible from viruses & wild fire smoke, and hopefully have a reduction in seasonal allergy symptoms. I very much like the sensor / auto mode on the 211 Plus model.

Found this on consumer reports online ratings and went ahead an bought one for my husband who was sneezing nonstop all night long. This air purifier has made a noticeable difference. My daughter was sneezing, too (allergies or dust I assume) and put it in her room and she stopped sneezing through the night as well. There is carpet in both these rooms and so we will keep vacuuming, but the air purifier is making a difference, which is super impressive to me.

A breath of fresh air!
This is my second 211. I also have a 411, and a classic 405. I use the both the 211 for the large living area down stairs. It cleans the air perfectly, no more spring allergys for my family and I. I also use it for the log burner in the winter. I have a partical meter (originally bought to test the pollution from the log burner) and I can both feel and see how fantastically well the Blue 211 works!
