DeWalt 16 oz. Smooth Face Rip Claw Hammer 7-1/2" Steel Handle

Ever since I was a little kid, I've been swinging hammers and use one nearly daily for jobs. I started with a 12oz hammer and as the jobs called for more power, I “graduated” to a 20oz framing hammer. Now that I'm older, I find that my older hammers aren't cutting it anymore, leaving a reverberating sensation in my arms. Enter this fantastic 16oz hammer from Dewalt. The first thing you'll notice is the grip that inspires confidence even on the hottest of days. The second is, for me, it's a fantastic balance without being overly head heavy. The third is the comfort grip that somehow doesn't translate reverberations into my hand and arm. I love the side nail puller and the tapered claw to dig into wood to retrieve nails. Overall, you really can't go wrong with this hammer.
