PORTER-CABLE 8623 12-Volt 2.0 Amp Hour NiCd Slide Style Battery
Get more power and run time from this re-designed battery pack by Porter-Cable. By eliminating the "tower cell" that resides in the post of clip-on batteries, this slide-on battery keeps all cells on an even playing field. This prevents premature failure of the battery due to one cell taking more abuse from charging and discharging than the others. An added benefit is that the slide-on style is much easier to remove and replace than typical clip-on style batteries. The 2 amp hour capacity provides more power and longer run time. It fits Porter-Cable's 9866 12-volt drill and 869 flashlight.
