These balls are perfect for outdoor play. They bounce evenly not like some balls that go to the side where the pump insert is. They're a good size for most kids' hands. I found them on sale for $5 each (end of the season), so I can't comment on price. By the time I bought them they needed a little air, but I've had them over the years and they never disappoint.
