Good looking, order issues. . . . durable?

I placed the order through an actual agent and assured of accuracy. After a week brackets arrived with no bars. The company did expedite them overnight. Installation directions only came in spanish and dual sets of hardware included for some other steps. Technical support was very helpful with any questions, and install was pretty easy. Recommend threading in lower screws to frame first, remove, then put through bracket. I wasnt aware that there is basically a plastic outer sleeve over the "aluminum core". The description says "Corrosion-resistant textured black powder-coat finish. " I expected a spray on textured coating, so a little disappointed. So there in lies the question of durability. Will this composite outer sleeve last? I have to get back in a few years.
