this product was verry easy to set up and use

the 918 roll groover was very easy to set up and very easy to use. first time using a roll groover, this machine made it simple very short learning curve . I would recommend this product

Surprised were struggling to groove 8" sch 40

Our company bought this for a big hospital job running 8" schedule 40 pipe. It takes a little over 5 minutes to grove 1 side with about a million pumps. We're very disappointed so far with the machine sadly.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review the Ridgid 918 Groover. The issue you are describing sounds like it could be either low hydraulic oil in the hand pump or maybe the release knob is not firmly levered into the close position on the pump.
