This baffle works

This plastic squirrel baffle is effective on a thin steel pole. An included buckle, fastened to the pole, keeps the baffle in place. Squirrels are unable to get past the baffle, They cannot shimmy up through it or climb up over it. After a few failed attempts to get to the bird feeder hung above the baffle they give up and do not return. It's only fault is the pop-in fastening system for closing the assemble baffle. A determined squirrel may be able to open the baffle. Applying a heavy tape over the pop-in fasteners solved the problem.
