Pioneer Car Vehicle Audio Amplifier

I am super impressed with this amp. I am driving it super hard, but admittedly it has only been running an hour or 2 combined. 3- 4 ohm 10s runs this amp down to around 1.333 ohms. That puts about 250 watts RMS to each speaker, according to the specs, and I believe it! I actually need some of those subwoofer brackets because the 8 screws holding the subs in aren't sufficient. With the bass turned up it has these subs nearly jumping out of the box! I may be wrong, but it looks to me like this is the last of this model to go down to 1 ohm... the updated model is rated at 2 ohm. This model is based off of a very popular and reliable design they have been using for some time... they just raise the number up by 100 each update (8501, 8601, 8701, etc), but they jave always been pretty much the same. Except it looks like the new model doesn't want people to go under 2 ohms. So better buy this one up before it's too late !
