This all-corn, breading mix brings the rich traditions of Big Easy cooking straight to your family's table. Wonderful Fish Fri helps you create comfort food inspired by our Southern roots. To prepare, simply roll or shake fish in the seafood breading, then cook in the deep fryer, skillet or oven until golden brown on the outside and flaky in the middle. Dust the fish with the breading or moisten first in a milk-and-egg mixture for a heartier crust. For authentic New Orleans flavor, season the fish with Zatarain's Creole Seasoning before breading. Use Wonderful Fish Fri Seafood Breading for fish and chips, po'boys or fried shrimp. This Zatarain's Wonderful Fish Fri is in a Cardboard bag that is 10 ounces. Refrigerate after opening.Fried Fish Directions:1. Pour 1 inch of vegetable oil into large skillet. Or fill deep fryer no more than 1/3 full with oil. Heat oil to 350 degrees F on medium heat.2. Pour Fish-Fri onto plate. Use 1/2 cup Fish-Fri per 1 lb. fish. Roll fish in Fish-Fri until evenly coated.3. Fry fish until light golden brown.Note: For thicker coating, dip fish in 1/2 cup milk mixed with 1 lightly beaten egg, before rolling in Fish-Fri.Baking Directions:1. Brush 1 lb. fish fillets on both sides with oil. Pour Fish-Fri onto plate. Roll fish in Fish-Fri until evenly coated.2. Place fish on shallow baking pan sprayed with no stick cooking spray. Spray top of fish with cooking spray.3. Bake in preheated 450 degrees F oven 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Tasty and Crunchy
So far I've tried the pan frying method and the baking method with grouper. Both came out really well! Pan frying was tastier and crunchier than baking, but the baking gets the win health-wise. Now that I've tried it a few times, I'm looking forward to experimenting with this in my air fryer to see if I can keep it keep it healthier and get the frying level of crunch. This mix adds great flavor and a tiny hint of spice without going overboard. It's a simple way to make something really tasty at home. I received this product free in exchange for my review.

Tastes very good!
I usually do a lot of fried fish, in a normal day, I would bring flour and dip in it black pepper anion and garlic powder, however, given this seasoned fish it helps me to eliminate the flour part and the spices.In addition, it tastes very good.I recommend it for fried fish definitely and I will definitely include it in my fried fish routine!
