These are surprisingly sturdy for being paper and compostable. I bought them for Halloween crafts for the kids and we have used the extra ones to serve snacks on during craft times. They are easy to use and the package was easy to open. They are more firm than the cheaper thin ones, comprable to the sturdiness of a disposable plastic plate.
