These denim shorts are very comfortable to wear. I feel like they may run slightly larger but not enough for me to go down a size. I wear a medium and weight 142 lbs. and I'm 5'5'. They are short but not too short. My butt does not hang out even when I bend over there is plenty of material to keep me covered. I have an iPhone 15 pro and it fits in the back pocket but I feel like it's going to fall out so I do not use the back pockets to hold my phone. The front pockets however are very deep. Overall I love the shorts and would buy them again.
