This rugged kit has it all!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thoroughly impressed with the contents as well as the quality of this socket set. The set includes an excellent assortment of sizes as well as variations within those sizes. All of the 3/8" drive sockets included are represented in both 6-point and 12-point varieties. There is also a very good selection of 1/4" sockets in both 6 and 12-point, along with some 1/2" drive and some 3/8" deep well sockets. The sockets are painted with color coding for easy distinction between SAE and metric, but are also engraved for those times when your tools are gunk-covered. The ratchets really stand out to me, and there are 3 included - they're very comfortable in the hand, are appropriately sized (not too long or too short), and are 80-tooth ratchets, so it doesn't take a ton of turning in order to get them to engage and actually do their jobs. The ratchets do not have quick release buttons to disengage the socket but I've not yet had to struggle at all to disconnect them, the mechanisms really seem well designed and very functional. I REALLY like the case. I am a big fan of compartmentalizing tools so that you can have everything you need in one kit (a bag for plumbing stuff, one for electrical stuff, etc.). This kit has just about everything you might need to turn some fasteners and the case seems like it will really stand up to abuse, so this has become my go-to kit to grab for sockets / ratchets. Very pleased so far.

The 80 tooth ratchets have tight action, a comfortable grip in the hand, and allow for a tighter swing in hard to reach areas. The chrome finish on the tools is easily cleaned after some dirty wrenching. The sockets have all been engraved with their respective sizes as well as printed with separate colors for Metric and SAE, making for easy identification when looking for a socket. My favorite part though is that the case the tools come in, is of the same quality as the tools themselves! This set has been banging around on the shelf of my work van and when I want to use it, all the tools are still held tightly in their place. Whether your a tradesman like me filling a gap in your arsenal of tools, or your the weekend warrior looking for a well rounded set of ratchets and sockets to tackle all your projects, you can't go wrong with these quality Sunex tools and their lifetime warranty.
Great step up from local stores
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this set and immediately noticed the rugged case. Once opened, every piece was in its place and each location is labeled with what belongs there. The ratchets have a 80 tooth count and have a low profile. The sockets are clearly marked with their size and individual part number. This impressed me even more because they it has the full size on it, not just the number or fraction, actual MM and Inch. They also snap back into place in the case, just in case you open it upside down, sockets do not fly everywhere. So far I am impressed with this set.
