I love strawberry cake and have ever since I attended a bake sale at my granddaughter's school. This year the strawberries at Walmart have been outstanding and what better that to use some with strawberry cake or cupcakes? I don't usually eat cake, but I have a few exceptions. I like lemon pound cake and strawberry cake with strawberries in between layers and strawberry frosting. This is on sale right before Valentine's Day, which makes it perfect for a special dessert. I'm going to make cupcakes and serve them with heart shaped Pasta.
