Does a great job on smaller carpet areas. I spot spray stains and use plain water to wash and rinse most other areas as needed. The fresh water tank doesn't hold much and needs refilling often. The gray water tank needs emptying at the same time since it fills almost as quickly. Cleanup is not too bad. Be sure to completely air dry the tanks inside and out before storing.

Let me start by saying over the last 15 years I owned 2 Bissell Pro Heat carpet machines. I bought the second one because I bought the first one, I'm not one to comparison shop. Well when the second one died on me, my wife suggested we purchase the "Power Dash Pet". We read the reviews and ordered one. When it arrived I was less than amused as I put it together, thinking, "Its half the size of the Pro Heat". When I turned the power on to it, I instantly knew that I was in for a surprise. It even sounded more powerful than I was used to. This machine cleaned up my new puppy's mess so quickly, and so well. I couldn't tell where the mess was when the carpet dried.
