Pen+Gear Thermal Laminator, Letter Size, 5 mil, White

I've used this laminater 4 times so far. For under $20, i can't complain about performance. the 1st sheet had some slight bubbling. The instructions say to use the 1st sheet as a practice or scrap sheet, i assume for this reason. i did run it through a second time, and the bubbling was gone. since the 1st run, the bubbling hasnt been an issue. i will say the button on the top got stuck the 1st time i pushed it to turn it on to adjust the sheet thickness. it took some wiggling, but it popped back out and functions as it should. stuff sounds like it's rattling around inside, maybe like a heating coil. not that that's an issue or alters the performance, just unexpected on my end. It's kind of worrysome when you have no experience with laminaters.

The three mil is plenty thick for home and classroom needs but it is nice that you can go up to five mil if needed on occasion. Time will tell, but so far of this seems like an excellent value and valuable product.
