The vanilla scent is prominent in this "roll-on"; hoped it would just be an accent to the patchouli, but it's right out in front on the aroma. I wore it several times already and, about 2 to 3 hours after application, there is no more scent. Also, the make-up of the fragrance is kind of on the bitter side. Is it my physiology? Don't know. I can not recommend this for anyone who craves the earthy, deep fragrance of patchouli.
