Patak's Mild Mango Curry Simmer Sauce, 15 Ounce Bottle

This was a delicious sauce! I would recommend this for those that like curry on the mild side - the sweetness of the mango is very evident, and makes for a balanced and yummy flavor that I could serve to anyone in my household. Be aware that you will use the whole jar with a single recipe. Even though the cap screws back on the jar, I cannot imagine using less than the complete portion and having the flavor of the sauce permeate the protein. I'm looking forward to trying it with other flavors, like substituting tofu and even chickpeas for chicken. I think it will make a great combination.

I like the ease of a quick and very flavorful curry sauce. I enjoyed the hint of mango. The level of spice was just right for; a hint of spicy combined with the sweetness from the mangos. I also appreciated the texture of this curry. My homemade curry is often kind of gritty feeling. even some commercial brands have a bit of grttiness to them. The curry was much smoother.
