Key item features

  • Days to Maturity: 92
  • The finest name in pumpkins is now available from Park Seed. Selected by John Howden himself for success in the home garden, this is the pumpkin Linus might have chosen to grow in his really sincere pumpkin patch. These ribbed, plump, deep orange pumpkins set the industry standard for appearance, vitality, and yields. The heavy-bearing plants yield a big crop of 20- to 30-pound pumpkins, each measuring 13 to 16 inches long.
  • Pumpkins are exceptionally easy to grow, given adequate space and patience. Sow the seeds outdoors when danger of frost is past or start indoors in peat pots. Plant the seedlings (or thin to) 3 to 5 feet apart.

Best Value - Tons of Pumpkins!

This was a huge surprise as we haven't had luck with pumpkins in the past 4 years (Northern California). However I started these in the BioDome in April, seedlings sprouted quickly then put in the raised beds May 15. We had a super-hot June with 3 heat waves of 95°+ so that really helped. July was very cool but the beds get a ton of sun regardless. By July 15 we had 10 mini pumpkins - white, orange, striped - they are all so beautiful and perfectly formed. It is now August and there are about 20 more on the vine that I bet will be ready mid-Sept. Happy Halloween (early!).

Pie pumpkin

Wanted a sweet pie pumpkin. I live in zone 8 in Seattle. I grew this pumpkin up a 12 foot pole. I got two 30 lb plus pumpkins and a couple smaller ones. At the top of the pole was a 33 pounder. When I grew them on the ground, the critters ate the blossoms and small fruits. I wish I could post a picture.

Bountiful Harvest

Loved these small pumpkins. Easy to grow, bountiful harvest. My Grandkids loved watching these grow, picking these and displaying them in their Halloween display. After they were picked they lasted a long long time. Overall, was very impressed with these. First time growing pumpkins. Needs room, vigorous grower.
