Regretting this Rug Purchase

Pretty, bright red rug. I bought it in late September to put on my covered front porch for Christmas. Got it out of package 3 weeks ago, but could not get it to lay flat. Weighted it down in garage with heavy coir mats for 3 weeks. Could not ripples out of the edges. Put it on the front porch yesterday anyway. Got up this morning and saw that half of it was already fading to dark pink. I live in Ohio. It was cloudy all day yesterday after the rug was put out. I am very unhappy with this rug and regret purchasing it. It's probably too late to return it, but i'm going to try.
